We serve adults who are looking for stable, flexible housing while navigating life transitions or temporary work opportunities.
This includes individuals rebuilding financially, starting new employment, relocating for opportunity, or simply seeking an affordable living solution. It also includes traveling nurses, contract professionals, and gig workers who need comfortable, fully furnished housing during short-term assignments or project-based work.
Our shared housing model provides the foundation for stability while allowing residents to maintain independence and personal responsibility — whether they’re planting roots or just passing through for a season.

Every adult completes an application, basic background check, and reference screening so housemates and landlords can feel confident.

Quiet hours, visitor policies, cleanliness standards, and substance expectations are explained up front and signed by every resident.
Affordable monthly rates
Mid-term stays (3–12 months) with one predictable monthly payment that typically includes furnishings and utilities.

We stay in regular communication with residents, case workers, and property owners to address small issues before they become big ones.

You bring your clothes and essentials. We provide the rest: a furnished bedroom, shared kitchen and laundry, Wi‑Fi, utilities, and a calm environment where everyone is moving forward.

Basic requirements: 40+, independent in daily living, proof of steady income or funding source, respectful of shared spaces, and able to follow house rules.

During your application or referral, we’ll talk through your specific situation, home options, and pricing.
How much does a room cost per month?
Rates vary based on the home, room size, and what’s included, but all Legacy homes are designed to be significantly more affordable than local studios and extended-stay hotels. Most rooms are rented on a flat monthly rate that includes furnishings and utilities. Exact pricing is shared after we know your timing, funding, and which homes are available.
Are your homes co-ed?
No — our homes are not co-ed. We maintain gender-specific residences to promote safety, privacy, and a more comfortable shared living experience for everyone.
Do you only serve veterans?
Veterans are a priority for us, but we also serve working adults, traveling professionals, and individuals in transition who are 100% independent in daily living. Some homes may be veteran-preferred or program-partner specific; others are open to any qualified resident.
What kind of background checks do you run?
We complete a basic criminal and housing-related screening focused on safety for other residents and the property. We look at recent history, patterns, and fit for shared living rather than aiming for "perfect" backgrounds. Certain violent or high-risk offenses are not compatible with our homes.
Can I tour a home before committing?
Yes. After reviewing your application and confirming a potential fit, we’ll schedule a walkthrough (in-person or virtual) so you can see the space, ask questions, and review house rules before signing anything.
How does this work if I’m a landlord?
After your property intake, we’ll review suitability for shared housing, discuss a partnership model, and outline responsibilities. Once we agree on a structure, we help coordinate resident placement, expectations, and ongoing communication to keep your home stable and compliant.
